Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base station in a central, elevated location.

  1. Connect Base Station: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to your router/switch. Use PoE or included power adapter.
  2. Charge Handset: Place handset in charging cradle until battery is full (approx. 3 hours).
  3. Pair Handset: Press and hold REGISTRATION button on base for 3 seconds, then follow prompts on handset.
  4. Mounting: Optional wall mount available for base and charging cradle.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-provided power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around base station.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Configuration: Base station obtains IP via DHCP by default. Check IP address via handset menu.

  3. Plug power adapter into base or use PoE switch.

Tip: Use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable for reliable PoE and data.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced VoIP features.

  1. Make Call: Dial number and press CALL/SEND or use speakerphone.
  2. Answer Call: Press CALL/SEND or any soft key configured for answer.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During a call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to merge.
  6. Voicemail: Press and hold '1' or access via menu if configured.
  7. Call Forwarding: Enable via handset menu or web interface.
  8. Call History: Access via menu for missed, received, dialed calls.

WARNING! Do not expose handset to extreme temperatures or water.
