T5 Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (included)
  • Handset and cord
  • Network switch/router
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents: phone base, handset, power adapter, Ethernet cable, and documentation.
  2. Connect to Network: Connect one end of Ethernet cable to LAN port on phone, other end to network switch or router.
  3. Power Connection: Connect power adapter to phone's DC input and plug into wall outlet. Phone will begin booting process.
  4. Handset Connection: Connect handset cord to handset port on phone base.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect headset to headset port if required. Connect additional line modules if supported.
  6. Initial Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to set language, time zone, and network settings.
  7. PBX Registration: Enter PBX server address and credentials to register phone to your VoIP system.
  8. Test Functions: Make test calls to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
Warning: Ensure proper ventilation around the phone. Do not place in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Use only Yealink-approved accessories.

Troubleshooting
