Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port to your router/switch. Use the PC port to connect a computer if needed.
  2. Power the Phone: Connect the included power adapter to the DC 5V port, or use PoE from a compatible switch.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated RJ9 port on the base.
  4. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug a wired headset into the RJ9 headset port.

WARNING! Use only the provided power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to auto-provision from the network or prompt for manual configuration.

  1. Network Configuration: If using DHCP (default), the phone will obtain an IP address automatically. Check the IP via Menu > Status > Network.
  2. SIP Account Registration: Access Menu > Settings > Account. Enter SIP server, username, password, and display name provided by your service provider.
  3. Date & Time: Set time zone and NTP server in Menu > Settings > Time & Date.
  4. Audio Settings: Adjust handset, speaker, and ringer volume using the side volume keys or menu settings.

CAUTION! Handle the handset cord with care to avoid damage to the connectors.

Connecting Devices

Network: LAN port to router/switch. PC: PC port to computer. Handset/Headset: RJ9 ports.

  1. Ensure phone is powered off before connecting cables.
  2. Use standard Ethernet cables for network connections.
  3. For PoE, ensure your network switch provides IEEE 802.3af power.
  4. Select audio source during a call using HEADSET or SPEAKERPHONE keys.

Tip: Use the PC port to connect a computer, saving a switch port and cable.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced VoIP calling features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE/HEADSET, dial number, press DIAL soft key or wait.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKERPHONE, HEADSET, or ANSWER soft key.
  3. Call Hold: Press HOLD key during a call. Resume by pressing RESUME soft key.
  4. Call Transfer (Blind): Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Call Transfer (Attended): Press TRANSFER, dial target, consult, then press TRANSFER to complete.
  6. 3-Way Conference: During a call, press CONF, dial second party, press CONF again to merge.
  7. Call Forward: Configure via Menu > Settings > Call Features > Call Forward (Always, Busy, No Answer).
  8. Redial: Press the REDIAL soft key or dial ** to call the last dialed number.

WARNING! Do not use the phone in wet or humid conditions to prevent electrical shock.

Accessibility Features

Ringer Volume: Adjustable in 5 levels via volume keys or menu. LCD Contrast: Adjustable in Menu > Settings > Display. Headset Mode: Toggle between handset and headset audio.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
