Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from your router/switch into the LAN port.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Plug PC Ethernet cable into the PC port for pass-through.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack.
  4. Apply Power: Use PoE from switch or connect the included power adapter to the DC port.

WARNING! Use only the provided or Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will attempt to get IP via DHCP. Check IP address on screen (Menu > Status).
  2. Configure SIP Account: Enter SIP server, username, password provided by your service provider via web interface (http://[phone-ip]) or phone menu.
  3. Set Language: In Settings > Basic > Preferences, select language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Set Time & Date: Configure via NTP or manually in Settings.
  5. Test Call: Make a test call to verify registration and audio.

CAUTION! Keep the phone away from direct heat sources and liquids.

Access menu via the "Menu" key or web interface (http://[phone-ip]). Front Keys: MUTE, HEADSET, SPEAKERPHONE, NAVIGATION, VOLUME, PROGRAMMABLE KEYS.

Basic Operations: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE to get dial tone. Use keypad to dial. Press "OK" to answer incoming call.

Settings via Phone Menu: Account configuration, Network settings (static/DHCP), Audio settings (ringer, volume), Time settings, Screen settings (contrast, backlight). Web Interface: Advanced configuration for SIP parameters, security (TLS/SRTP), firmware upgrade, call features.

Connecting Devices

Network: LAN port to switch. PC: PC port to computer. Headset: 3.5mm jack.

  1. Turn off power before connecting cables if not using PoE.
  2. Match cables to ports (Ethernet to LAN, handset to handset icon).
  3. For headset use, plug into 3.5mm jack and press HEADSET key to toggle mode.

Tip: Use quality Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables for Gigabit performance.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced PBX features.

  1. Call Hold: Press the "Hold" key during a call.
  2. Call Transfer: Press "Transfer", dial target number, press "Transfer" again (blind) or wait for answer then press (attended).
  3. Conference: During a call, press "Conf", dial second party, after answer press "Conf" to merge.
  4. Call Forward: Configure via phone menu or web interface (always, busy, no answer).
  5. Speed Dial: Assign numbers to programmable keys.
  6. BLF (Busy Lamp Field): Monitor extension status on programmable keys.
  7. Voicemail: Press the "Messages" key or dial voicemail access number.

WARNING! Do not use the phone in high-moisture environments. Unplug during electrical storms.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alerts: Flashing LED for missed calls/messages. Audio Adjustments: Independent volume controls for handset, speaker, ringer. High-Contrast Display: Adjustable screen settings for better visibility.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water only. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
