Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to network switch/router.
  2. Connect PC: Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer (optional).
  3. Power Connection: Use PoE from switch or connect external power adapter to DC port.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into handset port on base unit.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around device.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP. For static IP, press Menu > Settings > Network.
  2. SIP Account Setup: Enter SIP server, username, password provided by your service provider.
  3. Date & Time: Set time zone and NTP server for automatic time synchronization.
  4. Audio Settings: Adjust handset, speakerphone, and ringtone volume to preference.

CAUTION! Handle handset cord carefully to avoid damage to connectors.

Controls and Settings

Access menu via dedicated Menu button or touch screen. Front Panel: LCD screen, navigation keys, volume keys, mute button, headset button, speakerphone button.

Soft Keys: Context-sensitive buttons below display for call functions.

Basic Settings: Time/Date, Language (English default), Screen brightness, Ringtone selection. Network: WAN/LAN configuration, VLAN settings, QoS. Account: SIP registration, call forwarding, voicemail. Audio: Handset volume, speaker volume, ring volume, codec priority. Security: Admin password (default: admin), user password, encryption settings.

Connecting Devices

Network: Ethernet cable to LAN port. PC: Ethernet cable from PC port. Headset: RJ9 connector to headset port. Bluetooth: Pair compatible headset via Menu > Settings > Bluetooth.

  1. Ensure phone is powered off before connecting cables.
  2. Match cables to correct ports (Ethernet to LAN, handset to handset port).
  3. For Bluetooth pairing, enable discovery mode on headset first.

Tip: Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for optimal network performance.

Advanced Call Features

Supports call hold, transfer, forwarding, conference, and more.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. Call Hold: Press Hold button during active call.
  4. Call Transfer: Press Transfer, dial target number, press Transfer again.
  5. 3-Way Conference: During active call, press Conference, dial third party, press Conference again.
  6. Call Forwarding: Configure via Menu > Features > Call Forward.
  7. Voicemail: Press Messages button or dial voicemail access number.
  8. Directory: Store up to 1000 contacts with quick dial capability.

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms. Use surge protector.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alert: Flashing LED for incoming calls. Audio Adjustment: Separate volume controls for handset, speaker, ringer. Large Font: Option for larger text on display. High-Contrast Theme: Available in display settings.

Care & Cleaning
