Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (if not using PoE)
- Screwdriver (for wall mount)
- Network switch with PoE support
- Computer for configuration
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and verify all components are present (phone, handset, cables, documentation).
- Connect to Network: Connect one end of Ethernet cable to the phone's LAN port and the other to your network switch or router.
- Power Connection: Connect power adapter if not using Power over Ethernet (PoE), or ensure your switch provides PoE power.
- Handset Connection: Connect the handset to the dedicated handset port on the phone.
- Optional Accessories: Connect headset to headset port and additional line modules if supported by your model.
- Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to initialize the phone.
- Initial Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to set language, network settings, and SIP account information.
- Test Functionality: Make test calls to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
