Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to switch/router. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into dedicated jack on base.
  4. Power On: Connect AC adapter if not using PoE. Phone will boot.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-provided or certified power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP. Check IP address via Menu > Status.
  2. Provisioning: Enter SIP server details manually via web interface (http://[phone-IP]) or auto-provision via configured server.
  3. Account Registration: Configure SIP account(s) with username, password, and server.
  4. Basic Settings: Set time zone, language (default ENGLISH), ringtone, and volume.

CAUTION! Secure admin password. Default credentials: admin/admin.

  3. For Wi-Fi/Bluetooth: Insert optional module into dedicated slot.

Tip: Use quality Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables for Gigabit performance.

Advanced Call Features

Supports advanced PBX features via SIP.

  1. Call Transfer: Press Transfer, enter number, press Transfer again or complete blind.
  2. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference to merge.
  3. Call Park: Park call via feature code or soft key; retrieve from another phone.
  4. BLF (Busy Lamp Field): Monitor extension status on programmable keys.
  5. Call Recording: Start/stop recording via soft key (if supported by server).
  6. Forwarding: Set unconditional, busy, or no-answer forwarding via menu.
  7. DND (Do Not Disturb): Enable via DND key or menu; set schedule.

WARNING! Feature availability depends on SIP server configuration.

Accessibility Features
