IP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Screwdriver (for wall mount)
  • Network switch with PoE support
  • Microfiber cloth

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and verify all components are present (phone, handset, cables, documentation).
  2. Connect Network Cable: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to your network switch or router.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the phone and power outlet, or use Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported by your network switch.
  4. Handset Connection: Connect the handset to the dedicated handset port on the phone.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect optional accessories such as headsets, expansion modules, or Bluetooth dongles to their respective ports.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or connect power to boot the phone. Wait for initialization to complete.
  7. Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to configure network settings, SIP account, and user preferences.
Warning: Use only Yealink-approved accessories and ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution

Common Error Codes
