Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use included Ethernet cable to connect LAN/PoE port to your network switch or router.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to your computer.
  3. Power the Phone: Use PoE from switch or connect the included power adapter to the DC 5V port.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into the dedicated jack on the base.
  5. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug into 3.5mm headset jack.

WARNING! Use only the provided or Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will boot and attempt to auto-provision from the network.

  1. Network Configuration: If using DHCP (default), the phone will obtain an IP address automatically. Check IP via Menu > Status > Network.
  2. Account Registration: Enter SIP server details provided by your service provider via Menu > Account > Account X.
  3. Set Language: Press Menu > Settings > Basic > Preferences > Language.
  4. Set Time and Date: Configure via Menu > Settings > Basic > Time & Date.
  5. Test Call: Lift handset and dial an extension or external number to verify audio.

CAUTION! Do not place the phone near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

  1. Ensure phone is powered off before connecting new devices.
  2. For Wi-Fi, insert module, then configure via Menu > Settings > Network > Wi-Fi.
  3. For Bluetooth headset, enable via Menu > Settings > Bluetooth, then pair.

Advanced Features

  1. Call Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, press Transfer again or hang up for blind transfer.
  2. Three-Way Conference: During a call, press Conference, dial third party, press Conference again to merge.
  3. Call Forward: Set via Menu > Features > Call Forward (Always, Busy, No Answer).
  4. Do Not Disturb (DND): Press DND key or enable via Menu > Features > DND.
  5. Programmable Keys: Configure via Menu > Settings > Features > Programmable Keys for speed dial, BLF, etc.
  6. Phone Lock: Set a PIN via Menu > Settings > Security > Phone Lock to prevent unauthorized use.
  7. XML Directory & Services: Configure for corporate directory or custom services via web interface.

WARNING! Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners on the touch screen.

Accessibility Features

Care & Cleaning
