Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to switch/router. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect PC: Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer if needed.
  3. Power: Use PoE or connect external power adapter to DC 5V port.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cable into dedicated port.
  5. Optional Headset: Connect to headset port for hands-free operation.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will attempt to obtain IP via DHCP.
  2. Check IP Address: Press OK or navigate to Status > Network to view IP.
  3. Access Web Interface: Enter IP in browser, login with admin/admin.
  4. Configure SIP Accounts: Go to Account > General, enter server, username, password from provider.
  5. Set Language: Press Menu > Settings > Basic > Preferences > Language.
  6. Set Time & Date: Configure via NTP or manually in web interface.

CAUTION! Secure admin password after first login.

  2. For Wi-Fi, insert optional module and configure via web interface.
  3. For Bluetooth, pair device via Menu > Settings > Bluetooth.

Tip: Use shielded Ethernet cables for best performance.

Advanced Telephony Features

  1. Call Transfer: During call, press Transfer, enter number, press Transfer again.
  2. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference to merge.
  3. Call Forward: Configure via web or phone menu (always, busy, no answer).
  4. BLF: Monitor status of colleagues' lines; press to call.
  5. Call Recording: Press Record during call (requires server support).
  6. Directory: Access local or LDAP corporate directory.
  7. Park Call: Press Park or enter park code to retrieve from another phone.

WARNING! Some features require PBX/server support.

Accessibility Features

Care & Cleaning
