Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to network switch/router.
  2. Power connection: Use included power adapter or PoE from switch.
  3. Connect handset: Plug handset cord into dedicated port on base unit.
  4. Optional headset: Connect to 3.5mm headset jack if needed.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around device.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP; check IP address on screen.
  2. SIP account setup: Enter SIP server, username, password provided by IT admin.
  3. Time/Date: Set automatically via NTP or manually in settings.
  4. Language: Select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  5. Test call: Make test call to verify audio quality and connectivity.

Connecting Devices

Network: Ethernet cable to LAN port. Headset: 3.5mm jack. Expansion: Connect Yealink expansion module via dedicated port.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting additional devices.
  2. Match cables to correct ports (Ethernet to LAN, headset to headset jack).
  3. For Wi-Fi: Insert optional Wi-Fi module and configure via web interface.

Tip: Use shielded Ethernet cables in environments with high EMI.

Advanced Call Features

Supports advanced PBX features via SIP.

  1. Call Hold: Press Hold button during active call.
  2. Call Transfer: Press Transfer, enter destination number, press Transfer again.
  3. Conference: Press Conference, dial first participant, press Conference again, dial second participant.
  4. Call Forward: Configure via menu or * codes from service provider.
  5. BLF (Busy Lamp Field): Monitor status of other extensions.
  6. Directory: Store up to 1000 contacts with quick dial.
  7. Call History: View missed, received, and placed calls.
  8. Voicemail: Access via voicemail button or dial voicemail number.

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms. Unplug during lightning activity.

Accessibility Features
