Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to router/switch. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into dedicated port on back of phone.
  3. Connect Headset: Optional 3.5mm plug into headset jack.
  4. Power: Use PoE or connect external power adapter to DC port.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will attempt to obtain IP via DHCP automatically.
  2. Check IP Address: Press OK > Status > Network to view assigned IP.
  3. Provisioning: Enter configuration server URL via web interface or keypad.
  4. Basic Settings: Set time zone, language (default ENGLISH), and ring tone.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect power during firmware upgrade. Ensure stable network connection.

  3. For PoE, ensure switch provides adequate power (max 12.95W).

Call Management

Supports basic and advanced call features.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE, dial number.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKERPHONE, or press corresponding line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD during active call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to merge.
  6. Call History: Press OK > Call History to view missed/received/dialed calls.
  7. Directory: Store up to 500 contacts via web interface or phone menu.
  8. Redial: Press REDIAL or navigate to call history.

WARNING! Emergency calls may require proper SIP trunk configuration. Test with provider.

Accessibility Features
