Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your router/switch into the phone's LAN port.
  2. Optional PC Connection: Plug another Ethernet cable from the phone's PC port to your computer.
  3. Power the Phone: Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V port and an electrical outlet, OR use PoE via the LAN cable.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack.
  5. Optional Headset: Plug a 3.5mm headset into the headset jack.

WARNING! Use only the provided or Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to auto-provision from your SIP server.

  1. Check Network: Ensure the phone obtains an IP address (check via Menu > Status > Network).
  2. Configure Account: If not auto-provisioned, manually enter SIP server, username, and password via Menu > Account.
  3. Set Language: In Menu > Basic Settings > Preferences, set the language (default is ENGLISH).
  4. Set Time & Date: Configure time zone and NTP server for accurate time display.
  5. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio and registration.

Advanced Features

Supports call hold, transfer, forward, three-way conference, and Do Not Disturb (DND).

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER/HEADSET, dial number.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press the flashing line key.
  3. Call Hold: Press HOLD during a call. Press the held line key to resume.
  4. Call Transfer (Blind): Press TRANSFER (or MENU option), dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Call Forward: Enable via Menu > Call Features > Call Forward. Set conditions (Always/Busy/No Answer).
  6. Three-Way Conference: During a call, press CONFERENCE (or MENU option), dial third party, press CONFERENCE again to merge.
  7. DND: Press and hold the MUTE key for 2 seconds, or enable via menu. LED indicator lights red.
  8. Speed Dial: Assign numbers to programmable keys via web interface or phone menu.

WARNING! Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners on the keypad or display.

Accessibility Features

Adjustable Ringer Volume: Use volume keys when phone is idle. High-Contrast Display: Adjustable backlight timeout and brightness in Menu > Basic Settings > Preferences. Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC) Handset: Available on compliant models.

Care & Cleaning
