Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface or mount on wall.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to router/switch.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect AC power adapter.
  4. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset port.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around the phone.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP; check IP address on screen.
  2. Provisioning: Enter SIP server details provided by your service provider.
  3. Account registration: Configure SIP accounts with username/password.
  4. Date & Time: Set time zone and synchronization method (NTP).

CAUTION! Keep phone away from direct heat sources and liquids.

Controls and Settings

Access menu via MENU button. Front Panel: LCD screen, navigation keys, soft keys, volume buttons, mute, headset, speakerphone.

Buttons: HOLD, TRANSFER, CONFERENCE, REDIAL, MESSAGE, DIR, MUTE, VOLUME UP/DOWN.

Settings: Network (IP, DHCP, VLAN), Audio (handset, speaker, ringer volume), Time (time zone, NTP), Account (SIP server, registration), Features (call forward, DND, auto answer). Advanced: Firmware upgrade, restore factory defaults (password: admin).

Connecting Devices

Network: Ethernet cable to LAN port. Headset: 3.5mm wired or Bluetooth wireless. PC: Ethernet cable to PC port.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting cables.
  2. Match cables to correct ports (Ethernet to LAN, headset to headset jack).
  3. For Bluetooth: Enable in menu > Bluetooth > Pair device.

Tip: Use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables for Gigabit connection.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced telephony functions.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during active call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During first call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again.
  6. Call forward: Configure in menu > Features > Call Forward.
  7. Redial: Press REDIAL to call last dialed number.
  8. Directory: Press DIR to access phonebook and call logs.

WARNING! Do not disassemble phone; no user-serviceable parts inside.

Accessibility Features

Visual alerts: LED indicators for missed calls/messages. Audio adjustments: Separate volume controls for handset, speaker, ringer. Hearing aid compatible: Handset meets TIA-1083 standard.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth for exterior; dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
