Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to router/switch.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect AC power adapter.
  4. Connect handset: Plug handset cord into handset port.
  5. Connect headset (optional): Plug into RJ9 headset port.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone obtains IP via DHCP by default. Check IP via Menu > Status.
  2. Account configuration: Access web interface (http://[phone-IP]) or use phone menu to enter SIP server, username, password.
  3. Set language: In Settings > Basic > Language, select preferred language.
  4. Date and time: Configure via NTP server or manual setting.
  5. Test call: Make a test call to verify registration and audio.

CAUTION! Keep phone away from liquids and extreme temperatures.

Connecting Devices

Network: LAN port to network switch. PC: PC port to computer. Headset: RJ9 port to headset.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting cables if not using hot-plug.
  2. Match cables to ports (Ethernet to LAN/PC, RJ9 to headset).
  3. Ensure cables are securely connected.

Tip: Use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables for Gigabit connection.

Phone Features

Supports call handling, conferencing, call forwarding, etc.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial soft key.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset or press Answer soft key.
  3. Hold call: Press Hold key; resume by pressing Resume soft key.
  4. Transfer call: During call, press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to merge.
  6. Call forward: Configure via phone menu or web interface (always, busy, no answer).
  7. Call history: Press Directory key to view missed, received, placed calls.
  8. Speed dial: Assign numbers to line keys or speed dial entries.

WARNING! Do not disassemble phone; no user-serviceable parts inside.

Accessibility Features

Visual alerts: LED indicators for line status. Audio adjustments: Independent volume controls for handset, speaker, ringer. High-contrast display: Adjustable brightness and contrast.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth; do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
