Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to your network switch/router. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect PC: Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to your computer (optional).
  3. Power the Phone: Use PoE or connect the included power adapter to the DC port and wall outlet.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into the dedicated jack on the phone base.
  5. Connect Headset: Plug wired headset into 3.5mm headset jack (optional).

WARNING! Use only the provided or Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around the device.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; follow on-screen prompts and configure via web interface.

  1. Obtain IP Address: Phone will obtain an IP via DHCP. Check IP on screen (Press Menu -> Status -> Network).
  2. Access Web Interface: Enter the phone's IP address in a computer web browser.
  3. Configure SIP Accounts: Go to Account tab and enter SIP server, username, password provided by your service provider.
  4. Set Language and Time: In Settings -> Basic -> Preferences, set language, time zone, and NTP server.
  5. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and registration.
