Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect network: Use included Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to network switch/router.
  2. Connect handset: Plug handset cable into dedicated port on phone base.
  3. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect external power adapter to DC port.
  4. Optional connections: Connect headset to headset jack; connect PC to PC port.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around device.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP; check IP address via Menu > Status.
  2. Account configuration: Enter SIP server, username, password provided by your service provider.
  3. Set language: Press Menu > Settings > Basic > Preferences > Language.
  4. Set time and date: Configure via Menu > Settings > Basic > Time & Date.

  3. For headset: Plug wired headset into headset jack; for Bluetooth, enable pairing mode.
  4. For expansion modules: Connect EXP40/EXP43 module to phone's expansion port.
