Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect Network: Use Ethernet cable from router/switch to LAN/PoE port.
  2. Connect Computer (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect included power adapter to DC 5V port.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cable into dedicated port.
  5. Connect Headset (optional): Plug into headset port.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will attempt DHCP; check IP address on screen or via *123#.
  2. Provisioning: Enter SIP server details manually or via auto-provisioning (TR-069, TFTP).
  3. Account Configuration: Navigate to Menu > Accounts to enter SIP username, password, server.
  4. Date & Time: Set via NTP or manually in Menu > Preferences > Time settings.

Advanced Call Features

Supports multiple call handling features.

  1. Make Call: Dial number and press Send or lift handset.
  2. Answer Call: Press Answer, lift handset, or press headset key.
  3. Hold/Resume: Press Hold button during active call.
  4. Transfer: Press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again (blind) or wait for answer (attended).
  5. Conference: During call, press Conf, dial second party, press Conf again to merge.
  6. Call Park: Park call via feature code or BLF key; retrieve from another phone.
  7. Forwarding: Set via Menu > Features > Call Forward (Always, Busy, No Answer).
  8. Recording: Press Record during call (if supported by server).

WARNING! Emergency calls may require direct SIP trunk configuration.

Accessibility Features

High Contrast Mode: Enable in Menu > Preferences > Display. Audio Adjustments: Separate volume for handset, headset, speakerphone. Visual Alerts: Flashing LED for missed calls. Large Font: Adjust text size in display settings.
