Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN/PoE port to network switch/router.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Use second Ethernet port to connect to computer.
  3. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect external power adapter.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug handset cable into dedicated port on base unit.
  5. Connect Headset (optional): Plug into 3.5mm headset jack.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around device.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP. For static IP, configure via web interface.
  2. Account Registration: Enter SIP server details provided by your service provider.
  3. Set Language: In Settings menu, select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Date & Time: Configure time zone and NTP server for automatic time sync.
  5. Test Call: Make test call to verify audio quality and registration.

Connecting Devices

Network: Ethernet cable to LAN port. PC: Second Ethernet port. Headset: 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth. Expansion: DSS keys via EXP40 modules.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting wired devices.
  2. For Wi-Fi: Navigate to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi to scan and connect.
  3. For Bluetooth: Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth to pair headset or mobile device.
  4. For Expansion: Connect EXP40 module to phone's EXP port.

Tip: Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for optimal performance.

Advanced Telephony Features

Supports call transfer, conference, forwarding, BLF, and more.

  1. Make Call: Dial number directly or select from contacts/history.
  2. Answer Call: Press ANSWER softkey or lift handset.
  3. Transfer Call: During active call, press TRANSFER, dial target, press TRANSFER again.
  4. Conference Call: During active call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to merge.
  5. Call Forward: Configure via web interface or phone settings menu.
  6. BLF Monitoring: Configure speed dial keys to monitor colleague status.
  7. Voicemail: Access via voicemail key or dial voicemail number.
  8. Call Recording: Press RECORD during call (if supported by provider).

WARNING! Do not disassemble device; refer service to qualified personnel.

Accessibility Features

High Contrast Mode: Enable in Display settings for better visibility. Audio Adjustments: Independent volume controls for handset, headset, speakerphone. Ringer Volume: Adjustable from 0 to 100%. Visual Alerts: LED indicators for missed calls/messages.
