Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN/PoE port to switch/router. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into dedicated jack on base.
  4. Power: Use included AC adapter if PoE not available.
  5. Connect Headset: Plug 3.5mm headset into headset jack if needed.

WARNING! Use only Yealink-approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Select Language: Choose preferred language from initial setup screen.
  2. Network Configuration: Phone will attempt DHCP. For static IP, configure via web interface or keypad.
  3. Provisioning: Enter SIP server details manually or via auto-provisioning (TR-069, TFTP, HTTP).
  4. Account Registration: Enter SIP account credentials (username, password, server).
  5. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio and registration.

CAUTION! Keep phone away from direct heat sources and liquids.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via touchscreen menu or web interface (default IP via DHCP). Front Panel: Touchscreen, Mute button, Volume rocker, Navigation keys, Speakerphone, Headset.

Key Functions: HOME (main screen), CONTACTS (directory), HISTORY (call logs), MENU (settings), TRANSFER, CONFERENCE, HOLD, MUTE, VOLUME UP/DOWN.

Settings via Web UI (admin/admin): Account configuration, Network settings, Audio settings (ringer, handset, speaker), Time & Date, Security (password, TLS), Firmware upgrade. Phone Menu: Sound (ringer volume, tone), Display (brightness, wallpaper), Call Features (forward, DND), Bluetooth pairing.

Connecting Devices

Network: LAN/PoE port to network. PC: PC port to computer. Headset: 3.5mm jack. USB: For recording storage or Wi-Fi module.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting wired accessories.
  2. For Bluetooth headset: Enable Bluetooth in menu, scan and pair device.
  3. For Wi-Fi: Insert USB Wi-Fi module, configure wireless network in web UI.
  4. For expansion module: Connect via dedicated port on back.

Tip: Use shielded Ethernet cables for best performance. Ensure PoE switch provides adequate power.

Advanced Call Features

Supports call hold, transfer, forward, conference, recording.

  1. Make Call: Dial number directly or select from contacts/history.
  2. Answer Call: Press ANSWER softkey, or lift handset.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to merge.
  6. Forward: Menu > Call Features > Call Forward, set rules (always, busy, no answer).
  7. Recording: Press RECORD during call (requires USB storage).
  8. Voicemail: Press MESSAGE key or dial voicemail access number.

WARNING! Do not disconnect USB storage during recording. Ensure compliance with local call recording laws.

Accessibility Features

High-Contrast Display: Adjust in Display settings. Ringer Volume: Adjust up to 100dB. Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC): Handset meets HAC standards. Visual Alerts: LED indicator for missed calls/messages.

Care & Cleaning
