Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (included)
  • Handset and cord
  • Mounting bracket (optional)
  • Network switch with PoE support

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents: IP phone, handset, handset cord, Ethernet cable, power adapter, and documentation.
  2. Connect to Network: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the "LAN" port on the IP phone. For PoE-enabled switches, this will also provide power.
  3. Connect Computer (Optional): If using the phone's PC pass-through port, connect another Ethernet cable from the "PC" port on the phone to your computer.
  4. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone's power port and plug into a wall outlet.
  5. Handset Connection: Connect the handset cord to the phone and the handset. Ensure it's securely attached at both ends.
  6. Power On: The phone will boot up automatically. Wait for the initialization process to complete (approximately 60 seconds).
  7. Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to configure network settings or use auto-provisioning if supported by your VoIP provider.
  8. Test Functionality: Make a test call to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
Warning: Use only Yealink-approved accessories. Ensure proper ventilation around the device and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or moisture.
