Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (included)
- Handset and cord
- Mounting bracket (optional)
- Network switch with PoE support
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents: IP phone, handset, handset cord, Ethernet cable, power adapter, and documentation.
- Connect to Network: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the "LAN" port on the IP phone. For PoE-enabled switches, this will also provide power.
- Connect Computer (Optional): If using the phone's PC pass-through port, connect another Ethernet cable from the "PC" port on the phone to your computer.
- Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone's power port and plug into a wall outlet.
- Handset Connection: Connect the handset cord to the phone and the handset. Ensure it's securely attached at both ends.
- Power On: The phone will boot up automatically. Wait for the initialization process to complete (approximately 60 seconds).
- Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to configure network settings or use auto-provisioning if supported by your VoIP provider.
- Test Functionality: Make a test call to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
