Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (included)
  • Handset and cord
  • Network switch/router
  • SIP account credentials

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents: phone base, handset, handset cord, Ethernet cable, power adapter, and stand.
  2. Connect to Network: Connect one end of Ethernet cable to LAN port on phone, other end to network switch/router. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  3. Power Connection: Connect power adapter to phone's DC port and wall outlet. Skip if using Power over Ethernet (PoE).
  4. Handset Connection: Connect handset cord to handset and HS port on phone base.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect headset to headset port, and expansion module to EXP40 port if required.
  6. Power On: Press power button or connect power. Wait for boot sequence to complete (approximately 60 seconds).
  7. Configuration: Access web interface via IP address shown on screen or use auto-provisioning with SIP server details.
  8. Test Call: Make test call to verify audio quality and functionality.
Warning: Use only Yealink-approved accessories. Ensure proper ventilation around device. For enterprise deployments, consult with IT administrator.

Troubleshooting
