Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base station on stable surface away from electronic interference.

  1. Connect telephone line: Plug one end of phone cord into LINE port on base, other end into wall jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base station DC IN port and wall outlet.
  3. Charge handset: Place handset on base station cradle to charge battery fully (approx. 7 hours).
  4. Install handset battery: Remove battery cover, insert battery, replace cover.

WARNING! Use only supplied power adapters. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Register handset to base: Press and hold PAGE on base until IN USE light flashes, then press OK on handset.
  2. Set date and time: Use MENU > Settings > Time & Date.
  3. Set answering machine: Press ANS MACHINE on base to record greeting and set number of rings.
  4. Configure caller ID: Contact phone service provider to activate service.

  4. Conference: During a call, press FLASH, dial second number, press CONF to merge.
  5. Answering Machine: Press ANS MACHINE on base to play messages; remote access: dial your number, press * during greeting.
  6. Paging: Press PAGE on base to page all handsets; press PAGE on handset to page specific handset.
  7. Redial: Press REDIAL to call last dialed number.
  8. Mute: Press MUTE during call to mute microphone.
